When the Hebrew Prophet, Isaiah, predicted that one day Israel would be a “light unto the nations” his prophecy must have seemed rather far-fetched.

Miraculous as it may seem to even the most sceptical person we are witnessing a fulfilment of this promise in our own time.

Israel has just signed an agreement with Egypt and Europe to supply natural gas for processing and export to enable the continent to harness energy from the Promised Land for lighting and heating.

Who would have believed that one day the resurrected nation-State of the Jews would be helping to light far away countries and also provide water technology to other parts of the world?
