“Elders are again free to move about their home and importantly are able to enjoy meals and activities together – observing social distancing and sanitisation protocols,” said Chief Executive Officer Bill Appleby.

“We are grateful to our elders, families and staff of Gary Smorgon House who have shown great resilience and spirit during this sudden lockdown. We are thrilled that elders are once again able to enjoy the full amenity of their home”, added Bill Appleby.

Jewish Care continues to offer supports to all elders, clients and staff taking every precaution to ensure their ongoing wellbeing.
