Following a rocket strike near a residential building in the Western Galilee, Magen David Adom EMTs and paramedics discovered two women without signs of life.
Another woman in critical condition was extracted from a severely damaged building and evacuated in a private ambulance while undergoing resuscitation efforts – she was later pronounced dead at the hospital. This brought the total number of fatalities to three.
MDA teams provided medical treatment to 20 additional casualties: 10 with minor physical injuries and 10 suffering from anxiety – all were evacuated to Rambam, Bnei Zion, and the Galilee Medical Centre in Nahariya.
Additionally, from two other locations in the north, two people wounded by shrapnel in mild condition were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
Reinforced MDA teams are providing medical cover during searches in the damaged buildings. Further updates will be provided as the situation develops.
