There was an early celebration of Chanukah in the Victorian State Parliament last week organised by Chabad of Melbourne CBD attended by former Prime Minister Julia Gillard.
The Chabad of Melbourne CBD’s Rabbi Chaim Herzog told J-Wire: “We celebrated in true bipartisanship which included Premier Daniel Andrews and Liberal MP for Malvern and Leader of the Opposition Michael O’Brien lighting a candle together.
Thanks to Julia Gillard for attending along with many Rabbis and community leaders.
