On the other hand

With the vilification of Israel in the media a daily occurrence, it is important to learn about the truths not being published.

For example, did you know that a Muslim Bedouin woman has been appointed as deputy head of one of Israel’s major responders’ branches?

Doa Al Aubra, a 30-year-old primary school teacher from Rahat, became the first Muslim woman to be appointed deputy head of a United Hatzalah branch. Despite initial skepticism in the Bedouin community toward “a hijab-wearing woman serving as a first responder,” Aubra’s presence “helped bridge cultural gaps in emergency medical care.”

The head of UH’s Rahat branch praised Aubra’s appointment.

This news item should explode the false apartheid myth so beloved of Israel haters.

IS ANYONE LISTENING?

Neither Australia, New Zealand nor any of the other countries who voted yet again to censure Israel at the UN were listening to this address by Israel’s representative.

Instead, they once again shamefully cast their votes with the world’s worst human rights abusers.
