BJE’s popular adult Hebrew classes, taught by Sarah Friend, emphasise the development of modern Hebrew speaking skills to help those wishing to communicate with family in Israel, help their children with Hebrew, appreciate Jewish culture, provide easier access to Israeli media information and literature or, simply, improve their knowledge of the language.

The small groups conducted in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, are designed to give students individual attention, especially with the interaction of dialogue between teacher and student.  The lessons are also designed to assist students in gaining a better insight and knowledge of Jewish festivals, the Bible and prayer books.

If you are an intermediate or advanced student, and are interested in furthering your Hebrew language skills, we still have vacancies for semester two, commencing on Monday, July 14, 2014.

For further details, please contact BJE on 9365:7900, or e-mail:  administration@bje.nsw.edu.au
