BJE’s Emet (SRE) students have learnt about Shavuot, the Hebrew word for ‘weeks’ commemorating the anniversary of the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai.
The students learnt the meaning of the Ten Commandments and the name ‘Shavuot’, and celebrated with delicious ice blocks.
