Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are expected to follow the UK in freezing assets and imposing travel bans on the politicians, with the aim of putting pressure on Israel to end the current blockade on aid reaching Gaza and Hamas.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called the decision “scandalous,” adding that Israel will decide next week how to respond.

*After the announcement of sanctions against Ministers Ben Gvir and Smotrich: MK Son Har Melech (Otzma Yehudit) will return to the ministerial committee the bill that would prevent banks from being subject to foreign sanctions regimes*

After the announcement, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset MK Limor Son Har Melech (Otzma Yehudit) stated she will advance a bill intended to prevent Israeli banks from harming citizens following sanctions imposed on them by foreign countries.

Australia has joined New Zealand, Canada, Norway and the United Kingdom in suport of the sanctions. Ironically Israel is a lawfully enacted country in the decolonisation process that handed back Isreal/Palestine to the people who lived there, wheras Australia is still an unlawfully colonised country that was colonised in breach of British Royal Law, British Parliamentary Law and International Law, and is yet to be decolonised and is known by the British colonists name Australia. And New Zealand and Canada, and the still colonised British colonies, all share the same ilegal colonisation history.

Australia’s prime minister’s delegated Foreign Affairs minister Penny Wong has included us on the list.

We get the politians we vote for or do we?

I don’t wonder where the cost for the proposed papal tour to Australia will come from……..
