Having served in numerous leadership positions in a professional capacity and in the community and with a successful career as a marital and family therapist, Janine brings a wealth of leadership expertise and fresh new ideas to the organisation.

Janine said, “The position of Council President represents an exciting opportunity for me to play a more senior role in B’nai B’rith and for me to contribute a small part in the continuity of the great work that started almost 80 years ago here in NSW.

B’nai B’rith is a truly remarkable Jewish organisation. It has been the birthplace of significant charitable, advocacy, anti-discrimination and social justice programs. All these projects have been brought to life by the sheer hard work, determination and tenacity of the members and volunteers committed to Tikkun Olam.

I feel so blessed to be associated with B’nai B’rith and so proud to be able to represent the organisation in the wider community.”

Anna Marks, who served as Council President for 6 productive years will not be resting for long as she takes over the reins as President of the Bargain Bazaar, B’nai B’rith’s Charity shop.
