Israel harshly condemned the Islamic Republic of Iran following the election of its new president Ebrahim Raisi on Saturday.

Raisi, who is considered to be very close to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, won with 17,926,345 of the 59,310,307 votes.

Iranian Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli announced that the turnout in the election was only 48.8%, the lowest since the Islamic Revolution in the country.

“Iran’s new president, known as the Butcher of Tehran, is an extremist responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iranians. He is committed to the regime’s nuclear ambitions and to its campaign of global terror,” stated Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.

“His election should prompt renewed determination to immediately halt Iran’s nuclear program and put an end to its destructive regional ambitions,” he said.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat stated Saturday that “after the Supreme Leader effectively dictated to the Iranian public who they could choose, less than 50% of Iranian citizens eligible to vote have elected its most extremist president to date.”

Khamenei heads a committee that clears or disqualifies the candidates, and only seven, including Raiai, were approved.

“The butcher of Tehran, Ebrahim Raisi, has been rightly denounced by the international community for his direct role in the extrajudicial executions of over 30,000 people. He is designated by the US Treasury for these heinous crimes,” Haiat noted.

Hours after the election results were announced, Amnesty International called to launch a probe against Raiasi on suspicion that he committed crimes against humanity.

“An extremist figure, committed to Iran’s rapidly advancing military nuclear program, his election makes clear Iran’s true malign intentions, and should prompt grave concern among the international community,” Haiat warned.

“More than ever, Iran’s nuclear program must be halted immediately, rolled back entirely and stopped indefinitely. Iran’s ballistic missile program must be dismantled and its global terror campaign vigorously countered by a broad international coalition,” he demanded.

The Hamas terror organization congratulated Raisi on his victory and wished him success in leading the state, and expressed hope that he will continue to support the Palestinians.

Raisi, currently Iran’s Judiciary Chief, is considered a far more conservative and radical cleric than outgoing President Hassan Rouhani, and advocates halting the negotiations with the US and several European countries on the renewal of the nuclear deal. However, Khamenei is the final word on Iran’s foreign policy, which means that Iran’s policy is unlikely to change on this issue.

While the Americans raise the white flag of surrender to the woke left and BLM and embrace socialism as a way of life Iran China North Korea all malignant forces build and grow stronger by the day. Europe is lost to Islamic control so only one country will finish off Iran and we know who that is.
