Muslims rioted at several locations in Jerusalem over the weekend, including on the Temple Mount, as tensions mount toward the end of the month of Ramadan this week.
“Jerusalem’s future is also the future of the State of Israel. It is here, in the city that comprises the full range of Israel’s demography,” says Israeli President Reuven Rivlin.
President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have spoken at a ceremony commemorating Jerusalem Day marking 48 years since the unification of the city.
