Musician extraordinaire and Bialik VCE student, Josh Batten has won The Kingston City council, Kingston Arts, “Curtain Call Showcase”.
Kingston Arts’ Curtain Call competition is a launch pad for emerging musicians aged 15 years and over to get a taste of the limelight in a fully-equipped professional environment. Playing to a live audience and being judged by a panel of music industry experts, participants in the heats compete to make it into the 2013 final showcase. As the winner, Batten will get recording time in a professional studio and a live concert at The Chandelier Room.
The competition took place during Josh’s VCE final exams.
