A group banned by Facebook for its antisemitic content has found a new platform to disseminate its Jew-hatred in the messaging app Telegram.

Millions Rise for Australia is reported to have 1500 members.

Media reports the group claims Coronavirus is a fraud and has staged protests against lockdowns.

Some posts have blamed the Jews for 9/11, COVID-19 and controlling the media.

Others have called on for Jews to be gassed.

Anti-Defamation Commission chairman Dvir Abramovich has called on Telegram to also ban the group.

He bstated: “Clearly, extremists are using this pandemic and the restrictions to advance their antisemitic lies and to spread hate and incitement. It is abhorrent that Telegram is putting out the welcome mat to racists and allowing users to amplify and disseminate their vile, stomach-churning vitriol that has reached a fevered pitch.

The fact that the pages of this group are clotted with slurs and disgusting antisemitic images means that what is being created here is a dangerous echo chamber of bigoted rhetoric that is frightening in its intensity.

We know that online incitement and propaganda can feed acts of violence, and what are seeing here is the old blood libel of medieval times that blamed Jews for causing the Black Death plague now being reconfigured to fit this modern global crisis.

We call on Telegram to immediately deplatfrom this group as Facebook has done.

I mainly watch the ABC and dont have Facebook, twitter nor any of the other social media rubbish. I now only know about this “kite” media stuff because J Wire, and I assume the AJN, will promote it on there website. Stop giving the racist boofhead a platform for their propaganda as its counter productive for the Jewish community. The slang word “kite” is probably American origin like most social media garbage.
