Rabbi Meir Shlomo Kluwgant, President of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria (RCV) met with the with the Indian, Hindu and Sikh communities to provide guidance on achieving and executing a Strategic plan.

The meeting was initiated by the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship following the RCV’s successful implementation of its previous strategic plan and its achievements to date in activating an all encompassing strategic review and initiating a dynamic new plan for the next five years.

Rabbi Kluwgant outlined the importance of a vision, mission and having a driver to manage the process. Key challenges were discussed and engagement with stakeholders was highlighted as a vital component in achieving successful outcome.

Rabbi Kluwgant said “it was always my hope that our work would serve as a model for new and emerging communities”

The RCV has now engaged in its second strategic plan for the next five years, which should be complete early next year thanks to support of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship.
