Magen David Adom event cancelled by Dublin concert hall
An event at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, at which Magen David Adom was set to feature testimony from survivors and first responders to the October 7 Hamas attacks, was cancelled by the Irish auditorium.

MDA Global President and former Israeli ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, said that the decision is antisemitic.
He said: “NCH’s decision to cancel a non-political charitable event designed to help save lives in Israel clearly shows that its integrity and morality are compromised at best, and perhaps have been abandoned entirely.
This decision is antisemitic – censorship tainted by bad faith and ignorance.
Like the Irish Red Cross, Magen David Adom Israel is a non-governmental organisation in which Jews, Christians, Muslims and Druze work side-by-side to provide humanitarian services to anyone in need, regardless of ethnicity, religion, race or gender.
By cancelling and censoring the event, NCH has made a political decision to stop a presentation of a factual depiction of the atrocities of October 7 in the words of survivors and responders and is also depriving Israelis of all backgrounds of the benefit of vital aid for humanitarian life-saving services.
Tomorrow is Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel, and NCH’s decision not only reeks of antisemitism, but also places it in line with the Iranian regime and its proxies in Lebanon and Yemen, who call for the destruction of Israel and its civilians – Arabs and Jews alike.”
Three years ago, MDA hosted members of the Irish ambulance and blood services to learn the advancements of their Israeli counterparts.
