It’s prostate check and bowel so if you put men and women together my joke as you make babies but if you put the two sexes together the most common cancer is the can kill is bowel and yet it’s preventable because prostate when you screen for it you can find a tiny cancer which might be curable but it’s already a cancer and it’s the same with a mammogram when you do a mammogram.”

Graham Newstead has the age level dropped to 45 for free bowel cancer tests. He said: “In 2021, I retired from medicine and became the Medical Director of Bowel Cancer Australia. We have 57 countries across the world promoting the tests.”

The late Allan Shell‘s wife Roma, tolf J-Wire: “Allan loved people! With his winning smile, his uncanny ability to find the key to connecting with them and his wonderful way of relaxing people, they immediately warmed to him.
He loved being a doctor and using his expertise to move into other areas of medicine and community care. Specifically, into teaching, research, and how to improve the lives of those living with dementia.
It is a privilege for us to accept this honour on his behalf.
In accepting this honour, Allan would have been humbled, honoured and overwhelmed to have been awarded the Order of Australia (OAM).
He would view this recognition not only as a personal milestone but also a reflection of the collective efforts and support of his family, colleagues, patients, friends and the community that has been integral to his journey.
Allan would extend his heartfelt thanks to everyone he had the privilege to work with and crossed path with during his life and would thank them for their trust and collaboration.
Allan would thank his family for their love and unwavering support in all his endeavours.
We are all so very proud of him!
