CSG has been onsite at Adass Israel and is deploying additional resources throughout the community as a precaution.
They have advised that they are liaising with Victoria Police, who are investigating the attack. They say that Victoria Police have confirmed that the fire was targeted and deliberate, and the police will be an increased presence across the community all weekend.
CSG says, “We encourage the community to report any suspicious activity or any antisemitic behaviour to CSG immediately via JEAP or by calling our 24/7 Emergency Hotline at 1300 000 274.”
