The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies Journalists Mission returned to Sydney recently after spending an intensive week in Israel. The program included briefings from senior identities in the political and military echelons, visits to the Gaza and Lebanese borders and briefings by Palestinian spokespeople in Ramallah. The program is generously supported by the JCA Haberman Kulawicz Wolanski Fund. From left: Journalists Rowan Dean, David Wroe and Joe Aston, Board of Deputies CEO Vic Alhadeff and benefactor Phill Wolanski at the report-back at Central Synagogue this week. The fourth participant was Laura Jayes. The journalists travelled with four colleagues who were guests of AIJAC.
