Jewish Comedy Showcase returns to Sydney with a star-studded line-up
The Jewish Comedy Showcase is back at the Sydney Comedy Festival, bringing an electrifying mix of seasoned professionals and rising comedic talent to the stage.
Proudly supported by the Shalom Collective, this must-see event will take place at The Comedy Store on Wednesday, April 30th and promises an unforgettable night of laughter.
Hosting the evening is the charismatic Jess Fuchs, a standout in the Australian comedy scene known for her sharp wit, fearless crowd work, and boundless energy. Fuchs has been described as “whip-smart,” “boisterous,” and “pure chaos,” ensuring that the night will be packed with unexpected moments and side-splitting humour.
This year’s showcase features an exceptional lineup of Jewish comedians, headlined by the phenomenal Jackie Loeb. A global comedy sensation, Loeb has performed around the world, splitting her time between Los Angeles and Sydney. More than just a stand-up comic, she is also a vocalist, musician, writer, and producer. Known for her quick observations and hilarious musical parodies, Loeb has been praised as “literally a laugh a minute” by The Australian Stage and a “skilled chameleon and siren” by Comediva.

Some of the stars of the Jewish Comedy Showcase
Joining Loeb on stage is David Smiedt, a veteran comedian and writer who has charmed Australian audiences with his warm and witty humour for years. Robyn Reynolds, a British-born comic who won the Comedy New Work Award at Melbourne Fringe last year, brings her fresh and clever storytelling to the mix. Rounding out the lineup is Zane Friedler, whose dark humour and razor-sharp wit have made him a standout in Sydney’s comedy clubs.
The Jewish Comedy Showcase is a celebration of Jewish humour at its finest, filled with self-deprecating charm, cultural observations, and unfiltered absurdity. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Jewish comedy or simply looking for a fantastic night out, this show guarantees non-stop entertainment.
The event takes place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 7:30 PM at The Comedy Store in Sydney. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 7:15 PM to ensure they are seated before showtime. Tickets start at $27.50 and are available now.
