Israeli singer Eyal Golan posts Moriah College on Instagram

Sydney’s Moriah College rendition of Israel recording star Eyal Golan’s “Am Yisroel Chai” has been posted on the singer’s own Instagram and reported in newspaper Israel Hayom.

From the Early Learning Centre to Year 9, students gathered in the school’s auditorium to show love and support for Israel in a way that involved all our students.  Years 10-12 had already completed the year.

On Instagram, Eyal Golan posted:

“Ever since the song came out I’ve been getting hundreds of videos of you.
Singing it at home with the kids.
Singing it loudly in the car.
Children who sing it in schools

Each video warms my heart every time but when I received this video from the other side of the world, I was particularly moved.

The children you see in this video are children from Moriah College in Australia,
A large Jewish community which decided to sing and film a special video to support our country.

Thank you to Avi Ohayon and Ofir Cohen for creating the song and thank you for the privilege to give you a little bit of optimism and hope in the hard time we are going through.

With God’s help we’ll come out stronger than ever.”

Eyal Golan, who has performed in Australia, has more than a million followers on Instagram.
