Errol will be assisting the services team in building and strengthening its existing skills to enable clients to access better mental health care services.

Errol Jacobson is a highly skilled and experienced mental health clinician with over 30 years of experience in the field. He has a wealth of knowledge in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions for a range of mental health concerns and has worked extensively with people experiencing homelessness.

Errol will be working closely with the Jewish House CEO and Head of Social Services to provide guidance and support, ensuring that they deliver the best possible care to clients. He will also deliver workshops and psycho-education sessions to the community to raise awareness of mental health issues and promote well-being.

The CEO of Jewish House, Rabbi Mendel Kastel, said: “We are thrilled to have Errol join our team. His expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping us build on our existing services and reach more people in need of support. We look forward to working with him to achieve our goals of providing accessible, high-quality mental health care services to the community.”

Errol also expressed his enthusiasm about joining Jewish House, saying, “I am delighted to be working with Jewish House and contributing to their mission of providing care and support to people experiencing homelessness or other personal crises. I have long admired the work that this organisation does and am excited to be part of it. I look forward to working closely with the services team.”

Jewish House has been providing support and care to the community for 40 years. They offer a range of services, including crisis accommodation, food assistance, counselling, and mental health support. The organisation is committed to providing accessible, high-quality care to people of all faiths and backgrounds, and Errol‘s appointment marks a significant step forward for Jewish House as they continue to expand its clinical services and provide support to a greater number of people in need.
