Named in Israel’s Ma’ariv newspaper’s list of “Top 100 Most Influential Jewish People in the World,” it has been said that Neuer “makes the U.N. tremble (The Journal de Montreal). Having practised commercial and civil rights litigation at an international law firm, where he represented the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Neuer has also testified before the United Nations, taught international human rights at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and served as Vice-President of the NGO Special Committee on Human Rights in Geneva.

He has been quoted as an expert on the United Nations and human rights by the New York Times and appeared in debates on CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera. Since 2009, Neuer has headed a coalition of 25 human rights groups as chair of the annual Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy.

In addition to hearing from the guest speakers, the UIA NSW 2021 campaign results will also be presented.

“Whilst this year has thrown us its fair share of challenges, it has also enabled many opportunities and driven innovation. UIA has become a leader in connecting our community to Israel and the Jewish world in virtual and other tangible ways. Join us to hear about the incredible year that has passed and our exciting plans for the future,” UIA CEO Yair Miller said.
