Bennett to head for Biden meeting in Washington

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett will leave for Washington DC at the invitation of US President Joe Biden.

This will be the Prime Minister’s first diplomatic visit since taking office.

The delegation will leave for Washington on Tuesday with Prime Minister Bennett’s meeting with US President Biden at the White House scheduled for Thursday, 26 August.

Prime Minister Bennett’s visit will strengthen the close partnership between the US and Israel and reflect the deep ties between the two countries. The Prime Minister and the US President will discuss a series of diplomatic, economic and security issues, especially the Iranian nuclear issue.
