Each year on 9/10 November, we commemorate Kristallnacht, also called Night of Broken Glass or November Pogroms, when German Nazis attacked Jewish persons and property in Germany, Austria and the Sudetenland on that date in 1938...this year the Perth ceremony will be held at Perth Modern School.
Yom Hashoah will be commemorated on 11/12 April at which the Partisan Song, Zog Nit Keynmol will be sung in Yiddish at ceremonies held around the world.
Tuvia Tenenbom, named one of the top 100 people who positively influenced Jewish life in 2015 and Tzahi Halevi a musician, singer, creator and actor were guests at UIS's WA Major Donors Event held at Perth's Edith Cowan University Auditorium in Mt Lawley.
