Among children’s laughter, a tribute to the Bibas family
Kesser Torah College has honoured the memory of Shiri Bibas and her young sons, Ariel and Kfir, with the unveiling of a memorial plaque in the KTC ELC Oceanside Garden.
The plaque was unveiled during a visit by Michal and Eitan Keshet, the aunt and uncle of Yarden Bibas, who was held hostage by Hamas, and the relatives of Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas z”l.

The ceremony gave the school community an opportunity to reflect on the prayers, acts of kindness and messages of support shared during the family’s time in captivity.
Students, staff and families had stood together in hope and solidarity during those painful months, and the visitors were moved by the warmth shown by the Kesser Torah community.
Although the ceremony was deeply emotional, its setting in the preschool gave it particular meaning. Surrounded by the sounds of young children, the gathering offered a powerful reminder of the Jewish response to tragedy: to remember those lost while continuing to build, nurture and look towards the future.
