Educated at Moriah College, Alexis Fishman said: “In March 2020, as the world shut down and we didn’t know what the future held for live performance, I was introduced to the prolific, award-winning Australian playwright Ron Elisha. It was a few weeks later that I first read Anne Being Frank. The play took my breath away. Three and a half years, it was a dream come true to have been able to bring this powerful play to New York audiences.”

Directed by the sublime Amanda Brooke Lerner, Anne Being Frank is a one-act, one-woman play featuring five characters with four different accents – none of which are Australian

Alexis added:  “It’s a haunting, important and very moving play. We hope to produce it in Australia.”
