David Singer: The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) - in attempting to whitewash European Union (EU) policies directed against Israel in Judea and Samaria being labelled as “antisemitic” – is engaging in similar antisemitic conduct in denying Israel’s right to claim sovereignty there.
Israel Kasnett: Serious mistakes were made undermining the credibility of the report, including analyzing the wrong textbooks and attributing Arabic-language Israeli textbooks to the Palestinian Authority, ignoring antisemitism and ignoring incitement to violence, martyrdom and jihad.
Israel “regrets” that the European Union (EU) Foreign Affairs Council’s conclusions on Lebanon “failed to mention” the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which “serves the interests of the Ayatollahs in Iran at the expense of the people of Lebanon.”
“It is in the interest of the European Union to stop considering the Golan Heights as an 'occupied territory' and to recognise Israel’s sovereignty over this territory,” said Fulvio Martuscello, Italian MEP who chairs the European Parliament delegation for relations with Israel.
The European Union (EU) runs the risk of being labelled “Jew-hater” - should it proceed with its plans requiring supermarkets and other retailers to label products made by Jews in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) differently from those made by Jews in Israel.
