Our Israel. Our Home.’ is the second video in the ‘Rising From The Ashes’ series created by Melbourne’s Jewish Care. In this video, Holocaust survivors speak of their love for Israel and why they believe it is so important for the Jewish people. Thousands of survivors made their way to Israel after WWII to find refuge and safety. Each person has a different story to tell. Their conviction and emotion when describing why Israel is the home for all Jews is so strong it is palpable.

This video has been produced to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel’s Day of Independence).
