Morry Frenkel speaks with Greg Hearn, the Country Director of the Australian branch of the Centre for the Study of Political Islam International (CSPII) and a Global Director of the Centre for World Understanding (C4WU), about the organisations’ origins and explains its views on what is referred to as ‘Political Islam’. Greg also describes the main points of the C4WU’s submission to the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion, which include recommendations for the Commission to implement the reports of the special envoys for Antisemitism, Jillian Segal, and National Islamophobia, Aftab Malik; particularly those aspects pertaining to education.
