Chanukah may have finished for another year but miracles still abound in the Land which witnessed them at the time of the Maccabees.

* Israeli scientists say they have developed a drug that slows protein deposits on the brain that are a cause of Alzheimer’s disease, and say it may also be used for treating some autism cases.

The Tel Aviv University team behind the peer-reviewed research saw an improvement in the symptoms of mice. The biggest success, they say, was a dramatic decrease in the excessive buildup of a protein in the brain called tau. The protein performs important functions in normal brains, but among Alzheimer’s patients it tends to build up excessively, and becomes misfolded and abnormally shaped.

* New “life saving” artificial intelligence developed in Israel tells doctors which patients are most at risk of death or serious illness should they develop a blood infection.

Instead of wallowing in perpetual victimhood and being manipulated to milk the international community out of millions of dollars, they eventually made new lives for themselves aided by Jewish aid groups in various countries. A large number found refuge in Israel where they eventually became productive and proud citizens of the Jewish State.

Here is the personal story of one such refugee who now lives in Israel.

With the lies of “apartheid” being propagated ever more widely listen to the inspiring story of the daughter of immigrants who not only is achieving her life’s ambition but is also serving in the IDF.

Everywhere one digs in this ancient land one is sure to discover proof that not only were Jews here but that the narratives of the Torah, the Prophets and the writings are accurate.

Watch this latest discovery.

There is most probably no other country in the world where individuals with special needs are encouraged to enlist in the armed forces and where they receive such wholehearted love and support.

This is what makes Israel with all its problems and challenges such a unique nation.
