Great strides have been made in recent years to reduce the effects of pollution caused by waste disposal and polluting industries.

Every year at this time as Lag B’Omer looms however we seem to take several steps backwards. One of the features of this celebration is the bonfires which children and many adults enthusiastically construct and then set alight. The air is full of smoke and if you do not shut your windows your home will stink for weeks afterwards.

Fortunately, as awareness and education gains a foothold the number of such uncontrolled bonfires has been reduced and more environmentally friendly ways of enjoying this day are employed.



 It is timely that as we think about sustainability and the environment, Israel’s innovation in the field of water technology should once again gain prominence.

This is another example of how improving the world is coming forth from Zion.




 Jews have returned and are continuing to return from their exile in diverse parts of the world.

Their customs, traditions and above all culinary delights infuse Israeli society with a myriad of delectable choices.





April is usually the harbinger of spring and warmer weather but the change of seasons can also mean wild fluctuations in the weather.

This year has been no exception with rare snow on Mount Hermon followed a few days later by scorching sharav heatwave.




 Can you imagine if people could see through sound? Thanks to Israeli Professor Amir Amedi, it is not a far off dream but reality!




 It seems that almost every week our archaeologists are discovering irrefutable evidence that not only are Jews indigenous to this Land but also that the words of the Torah are being validated in our very day. Every discovery validates our presence here and exposes the fraudulent revisionist claims of those who deny our history.

If this does not prove we are living in miraculous times I don’t know what does.
