This week there was a very brief period of showers in Jerusalem which heralded a foretaste of what we all hope will be another beneficial rainy season.

After a very long hot and dry summer combined with lockdowns, social distancing and economic deprivation for many, we look forward to a return to a more normal routine.


Israel is on the bird migration route. Every autumn an enormous number migrate from Europe to Africa and stop in the Hula valley reserve to rest and feed before continuing on to their African destinations.

These birds have long recognized that Israel provides a safe and welcoming environment for them and therefore increasing flocks arrive to savour the hospitality and sanctuary provided by the Jewish State.





Following the decision to have Israeli actress, Gal Gadot, play the part of Cleopatra in a forthcoming movie, BDS supporters erupted in a frenzy of indignation.


In a surprising and stunning reversal, Saudi based Arab News site, conducted a poll which produced an amazing result.
