Summer has kicked in with a vengeance but this year promises to be different from all others. 

Vacation time will be severely curtailed by overseas travel restrictions and reduced airline options. Popular destinations may be off-limits and virus protection measures could put a crimp into social interaction and activities. 

Hopefully, local businesses and tourist facilities will be able to return and offer Israelis alternative attractions. 

Meanwhile, Israeli innovation keeps happening.
