Note the hypocrisy

The world’s glaring hypocrisy is on full display as Ramadan terror strikes once again.

Just when you think hypocrisy and double standards have reached the stratosphere, something occurs that proves there is indeed no limit to humanity’s idiocy.

Add in Israel as the eternal villain, and you have a perfect concoction of toxicity primed to light up social media and all fellow travellers who revel in smearing the Jewish State.

The jihadist rampage at a Moscow concert venue perfectly illustrates the morally corrupt and politically bankrupt situation that prevails.

It is perfectly clear that ISIS followers are responsible. These Islamic terrorists have bragged about their deeds and have even provided videos of their murderous actions. In this respect, they are identical to their Hamas brothers in crime, who also recorded their raping, murdering and pillaging against Israelis on 7 October.

Unbelievable as it may seem, the mass of Arabs in Gaza, Jordan and the PA still deny that Hamas and its followers actually carried out a pogrom against Israeli civilians. Likewise, Russia deliberately ignores the culpability of ISIS fanatics and prefers instead to blame Ukraine.

It actually gets even better because an Israeli Arab politician claimed that it is all part of a Zionist plot. Apparently, according to his warped logic, Israel encourages groups to attack Muslims and countries that support the Arab Palestinian cause. That is why there is no doubt Russia was targeted, as it is a fully paid-up member of the anti-Israel mob and a wholehearted cheerleader for the Iranian Mullah regime.

We should not be surprised at this sort of conspiracy theory because it follows logically from every such wacko accusation going back for more or less the last two thousand years.

At the beginning of March, Russia hosted a meeting in Moscow of Arab/ Islamic terror groups whose aims are to confront Israel and further its destruction. With Russian patronage, the internationally anointed “peace partner” would join together with these avowed terror supporters in order to further their nefarious objectives.10

Nary was a peep heard from the UN Secretary-General at this blatant exhibition of lethal intentions. No Governments and Foreign Ministries of the world’s democracies denounced this Russian-sponsored hate fest, and of course, the general media preferred to concentrate on Israel’s continuing “crimes” against Gaza.

The fate of Israeli hostages still held by Hamas in Gaza has been wiped from the consciousness of UN members who prefer to look the other way as Russia hosts the very people responsible for kidnapping them in the first place.

Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that truth is stranger than fiction is the revelation that Hamas has denounced the massacre of Russian concertgoers and offered its full-hearted solidarity and sympathy to the victims and their families.

The fact that those responsible for the worst massacre of Jews since the Shoah can at the same time condemn the same sort of act in Moscow by fellow Islamists displays an unmatched level of cynical hypocrisy. They can of course do this because they know perfectly well that they will get away with it.

Not to be outdone by his erstwhile partners in crime, Mahmoud Abbas, the PA apostle of peace, “strongly condemned the terror attack in Moscow” while at the same time asserting that “the Hamas actions against Israelis was one of self-defence.”

The Russians will thank them for their support. The UN will pretend it never happened and everyone else will continue to obsess about Israel being the source of international instability and a threat to peace. Biden, Blinken, Schumer, Cameron, Trudeau, Macron Albanese and Wong among others will dream about a “revitalised” PA that Israel must be forced to accept. The two-state solution will shimmer like a desert mirage while Iran forges ahead with acquiring nuclear weapons capabilities.

The transparent hypocrisy so glaringly paraded by the UN and most of its morally bankrupt members takes on an added dimension when one considers what follows or does not follow next.

The Russian authorities will undoubtedly undertake some sort of retaliatory strike against the perpetrators of the massacre. Will the UN immediately call for an unconditional ceasefire before the ISIS terrorists have been eliminated?

Will there be a demand for ISIS and its supporters to be awarded a State in the midst of Russia, which will, of course, live in peace and democracy as part of a two-state solution?

No doubt resolutions will be passed demanding convoys of food, fuel and medicines be arranged to alleviate the suffering of the ISIS terrorists and their supporters.

The UN will demand that “non-involved” and “innocent” ISIS civilians be protected.

Photos show the arrested terrorists having black eyes and other signs of physical abuse. Will Russia be asked to guarantee that terror suspects will not be tortured or have any of their limbs dismembered?

How long will it take for the UN Human Rights Council to convene and condemn Russia for defending its citizens in any retaliatory actions it might take?

Can we expect South Africa to demand the International Court of Justice at The Hague to rule that Russia be held accountable for its “crimes against humanity” and “genocidal intentions?”

Will the ICJ compel Russia to send a weekly report on its actions?

It is obvious that none of these possibilities will ever occur because they are reserved solely and exclusively for Israel.

The duplicitous double standards are so clearly delineated that only those with a genetic and irredeemable bias would not see them for what they are.

UN officials recently asserted that they had “proof” IDF soldiers had raped Palestinian women in their custody. No proof was ever offered but despite this, some US State Department persons insinuated that there might be some validity to this claim and that further investigations were necessary.

Needless to say this transparent blood libel soon took on a life of its own and added yet another unverified slander against Israel which the usual suspects gleefully celebrated.

It now transpires that a former Al Jazeera director admitted that the Arab woman who had originally made the claim admitted she fabricated the story “to incite fury.” She certainly achieved her aim because the lie went viral and no doubt the mud it generated will stick. The revelation that it was all a fraud was published in the Israel media.

Will it see the light of day elsewhere? Don’t hold your breath.

The hypocrisy of the Biden Administration knows no bounds. After abstaining on a UN Security Council resolution initiated by Russia and China demanding an immediate Gaza ceasefire, the US representative had the chutzpah to claim that it means all Israeli hostages must be unconditionally released. This resolution, in fact, makes no such demand, and by abstaining, the US has once again embraced appeasement and moral cowardice.

Vice President Kamala Harris whose husband is Jewish and therefore gives her some authority to pontificate on anything to do with Israel threatened the Jewish State. She stated that her map-reading abilities made it obvious to her that Israel must not continue to pursue the terrorists in Rafah. To do so would incur unspecified negative consequences. Would she issue a similar threat to Iran? Not likely as this would upset Bernie Sanders, the Squad and all those in the Democratic Party who have climbed on the “bash Israel” wagon.

Doctors are required to take the Hippocratic Oath of impartiality when treating patients in their care.

It is obvious that the only criterion for a successful political career is the hypocritical oath of double standards when Israel is concerned.

Absolutely brilliant! I so share your level of exasperation. The only question is, how and when will this madness stop?

A sardonic article, Michael, and one can’t help being amused at the awful truth of it. What a circus.
