National Library showcases flaura references written on toilet paper

The National Library in Canberra is displaying a reference work of Australia flora…written on 2500 sheets of toilet paper.The reference work was created by a German Jew, Hans Lindau, during the time he was incarcerated in an internment camp in Australia during the second world war. National Library director of exhibitions Nat Williams, told media that the toilet paper sheets were “beautifully inscribed” and displayed in a custom-built box.
