JCCV launches information hub for community
The Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV) has launched its new Research & Data Hub for the community.

President of the JCCV Philip Zajac
It is a centralised, public-facing portal bringing together key reports and data about Victoria’s Jewish community.
The Hub features publicly available research across themes such as demographics, education, antisemitism, and Jewish community life. It has been designed to be simple, searchable, and accessible to everyone – including community organisations, policymakers, researchers, and the general public. It is expected that the Hub will make research and decision-making processes easier for the community, as the needed research data and reports will be more easily accessible.
JCCV President Philip Zajac said, “The Research & Data Hub is part of our commitment to strengthening evidence-based advocacy, strategy, and collaboration. By bringing together existing reports in one place, we hope to support informed decision-making within our community and in engagement with government and academia.”
The Hub includes the following key elements:
- Easy-to-use searchable platform,
- Reports tagged by theme, such as “Demographics”, “Education”, and “Antisemitism”, and
- Direct links to the original sources.
The initiative is a collaborative project highlighting the expertise and work of a wide variety of organisations and researchers. The Hub includes reports produced by the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation, Zionist Federation of Australia, Community Security Group, and JCCV, among others.
The JCCV plans this just as a start, with more resources to be added over time.
JCCV CEO Naomi Levin said, “We see this as a collective resource that will continue to grow. We invite organisations with publicly available research relevant to Victoria’s Jewish community to contribute and help build this valuable tool further.”
The JCCV Research & Data Hub is now live and can be accessed at https://jccv.org.au/research-data-hub/
