Jayne Josem heads the newly-named Melbourne Holocaust Museum.
As the Museum Director, CEO and Senior Curator, Jayne has been overseeing the reconstruction of the Jewish Holocaust Centre in Selwyn Street Elsternwick. In the forthcoming week, Holocaust Remembrance will be commemorated at several events in Melbourne, beginning with Yom HaShoah, Keeping Alive The Stories of Survival, the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation 180th Anniversary Commemoration Event with Keynote Speaker, Treasurer Josh Frydenberg MP, and survivor Nina Bassat.
Then Uprising: Songs of Survival at Memo Hall, with FOJAM’s Women Talk of War at the National Theatre, featuring Maria Tumarkin.
