Creator of ‘I’m That Jew’ visiting Australia for UIA events

UIA will host the formidable Eitan Chitayat – brand expert and creator of ‘I’m That Jew’ at a variety of events in July and August in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

I’m That Jew is a global movement that empowers Jews of all backgrounds to proudly own and express their identity, while helping the world truly get to know who the Jewish people are.

Through storytelling, education, media and community-building, I’m That Jew is creating a united, visible Jewish future – one where Jews reclaim their voice, reconnect to their roots and share their stories with each other and the world. Since October 7, 2023, this movement has become more relevant and vital than ever for Jews worldwide.

The I’m That Jew movement was kick-started in 2015 by a viral video, which has been viewed over 10 million times on various platforms, coupled with Eitan’s TEDx talk about why he created the video. Since then, his viral social media campaign has featured many prominent Jewish figures, including Gal Gadot, David Schwimmer, P!nk and Jack Black, as well as Jewish allies such as Erin Molan, Elica Le Bon and Douglas Murray.

He is also the founder and Creative Director of the International Natie Branding Agency, based in Tel Aviv. With nearly 30 years of global experience, having lived in Hong Kong, London, New York, and Boston, he has worked with clients such as Apple, Google, YouTube, and startups across various industries. His advocacy work has reached nearly 300 million views across all platforms.

Eitan has also harnessed his social media platforms to spotlight the rise of global antisemitism since the October 7 massacre, advocate for the return of the hostages to Israel and highlight the prejudice experienced by Jewish students at US universities.
