South Head Synagogue


South Head Synagogue is a family-oriented shule with a dynamic Rabbi & Rebbetzin (Benzion & Henya Milecki) and a melodious Chazan (Yehoshua Niasoff) and choir. The Shule has also appointed an Assistant Rabbi – Dovid Sebban who with his wife Ruti and young family make a wonderful addition to the team of dedicated spiritual staff of the rapidly growing Kehilla, and more recently a Youth Rabbi & Rebbetzin. Former Bochur at South Head, Rabbi Yossi Shuchat with his wife Rivky, have made a tremendous impact on Youth Programs.  The Synagogue’s youth and children’s programmes are second to none and are overseen by a devoted Youth Director working closely with the Shuchats.

South Head Synagogue Speakers’ Forum proudly presents Rabbi Shmuley Boteach for One Night Only on Thursday January 29th at 8pm.

This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the world’s foremost speakers in a small and interactive setting with the opportunity to share a light supper and socialise after the event. 

Rabbi Boteach has published over 20 best selling books – most notably Kosher Sex. This forum coincides with the release of his latest work  ”The Kosher Sutra: Why Sex is Broken and How to Fix It!”

Rabbi Boteach is a gifted speaker as his radio successes attest. In America he hosts his own show on Oprah Winfrey’s “Oprah & Friends” as well as being host of his own “Shalom in the Home” on the TLC network.
