Josie plays ‘The Robber Princess’ and Jeremy plays ‘Snatch’. The Riverview twins are 13-years-old and are students at Killara High School.

The Snow Queen is the Lane Cove Theatre Company’s  follow-up to its sell-out success of Godspell with a timeless and timely musical tale for children of all ages:

The Snow Queen plans to transform the world into a blinding white wilderness where people’s hearts are as cold as ice. Trapped in her ice palace and enchanted by a magic mirror, Kai seems lost to the world forever. His sister, Gerda, must find a way to rescue him, encountering a treacherous troll and a band of robbers along the way. Helped by the Wise Woman of the North and Freya, the Goddess of Spring, Gerda finally discovers the Snow Queen’s icy castle. But will she be able to defeat the Snow Queen’s terrible magic and save the world from an eternal winter?

A powerful and enchanting tale of good versus evil, The Snow Queen has been adapted for the stage from Hans Christian Andersen’s traditional and much-loved tale.

“Full of frosty bright colours, crunchy tunes and tangy originality… a quality show for children, so potent that ancient symbols really seemed to work in brand new ways.” – The Guardian

Directed by Lochie Beh and Trent Gardiner, the talented cast includes Tara Black, Oliver Clisdell, Sarah Edwards, Therese Bean, Haydon Ashley, Abbey Thomas, Cassie Mildwater, Jeremy Segal, Nick Loane, Josie Segal, Alexei Belchenko, Emma Ashley, Katie Matheson, Alice Austin, Georgina Lindsey, Charlotte Pugh, Annali Salman, Mackenzie Boe, Saskia Boe, Jesica Shroff and Piper Kup-Ferroth.

“What a great show The Snow Queen is… It is essentially for children but no adult with a pulse could fail to have their heart melted by it.” – Evening Post

The show runs Friday to Sunday from 24 July to 8 August at St Aidan’s Hall in Longueville on Sydney’s lower north shore. Tickets start at just $15 for children to $25 full price with generous concessions, group and family discounts.
