Serious injury at Hineni camp

An 18-year-old Sydney youth was ferrried by helicopter from Hineni camp in Jindabyne  to Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick, suffering from severe neck injuries incurred during a camp activity.

He remains in a serious condition following a long operation this week. The family has requested anonymity and J-Wire is complying.

Both Jewish House and Jewish Care are involved in counselling camp participants.
