Rabbi Zalman to take over at Maroubra
Maroubra Synagogue has announced that Rabbi Zalman Goldstein has been appointed the new spiritual leader of the congregation.

Rabbi Zalman and Rebbitzen Etsy Goldstein will assume their roles in June when Rabbi Yossi and Chana Raizel Friedman’s tenure ends.
Rabbi Goldstein and his family are well known to our community, having moved to Maroubra in 2019. Rabbi Goldstein has served as our Assistant Rabbi over the past two years, and in that time, he and his family have endeared themselves to our community with their warmth, commitment and love of Yiddishkeit.
Over the next few months, Rabbi Goldstein will be working closely with Rabbi Friedman to ensure a smooth transition. During this time, Rabbi Freidman will continue to lead our community and will be fulfilling all his usual duties.
