On the other hand
Who will live, and who will die.
This excerpt from a Yom Kippur prayer resonates loudly at the moment as the possibility of some fifty hostages kidnapped by Hamas being released looms.
Over two hundred Israeli men, women and children are being held in Gaza for ransom by terror barbarians who have already raped, pillaged, beheaded and burned innocent civilians in Israel. Denied visits from the International Red Cross and held in tunnels beneath hospitals these hostages are being cynically used and manipulated.
Until each and every one of them, whether alive or already murdered, are returned to their families the campaign to bring to justice the perpetrators must continue. Fake ceasefires enabling Hamas to reorganize and regroup cannot be used as a subterfuge.
Releasing from Israeli jails those convicted of attempted murders of Israelis cannot be equated with kidnapped Israeli civilians. We cannot allow even one Israeli to remain hostage in Gaza even if the rest of the world does not like our response.

It is another perfect example of how in times of crisis, volunteers from all sectors of Israeli society find unconventional ways to support soldiers and boost morale.
