How quickly do we return to a normal routine after the coronavirus seems to wane?

That is the challenge now facing Israel and many other countries. At least we can see some relief which is more than can be said for some other parts of the world.

Our scientists are working overtime to discover and produce drugs to fight the virus and a vaccine to prevent further outbreaks in the future. Meanwhile, our shuttered economy is reviving and Israelis can look forward to summer.

INNOVATION TO THE FORE

 Protecting first responders and medical personnel from infection is a top priority. Israel once again rises to the challenge.

 

 

FASHIONABLE MASKS

 

Who says that masks need to look all the same? In an effort to change the usual image of white or green masks Israeli designers have come up with some innovative designs. If it helps lift the spirits of the wearer as well as protecting them – why not?

 

 

ALIYAH SURGE PREDICTED

An unexpected spinoff from the coronavirus pandemic is a forecast increase in Aliyah in the coming year. It is ironic yet at the same time fortuitous that this plague should spur thousands to take this momentous step to return to the land of their ancestors.
