New Head of Senior School at Masada
Lucy Benjamin has been appointed as Sydney’s Masada College’s new Head of Senior School.
The college said in a statement that educational leader Lucy brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role. Her dynamic leadership has inspired and motivated teams to champion learning and improve student educational outcomes.
Most recently, Lucy has been serving as Dean of HSC at Redlands, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership in driving academic excellence and student well-being. Lucy’s career has been marked by her commitment to fostering holistic education that balances academic rigour with student personal growth. Her strategic vision, passion for education, and ability to connect with students, staff, and the broader community make her an excellent fit for Masada College.
Lucy’s previous roles include significant leadership positions at Queenwood School and in the UK, where she gained valuable experience in leading teams, enhancing curriculum delivery, and fostering a positive school culture. Her extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and curriculum development, combined with her dedication to professional growth and team collaboration, make her exceptionally well-suited to lead Masada College Senior School. Her leadership style, characterised by integrity, empathy, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligns perfectly with College values.
