He had been fasting and received initial treatment on the spot.

Netanyahu’s office stated that “Former Prime Minister Netanyahu felt unwell in the synagogue during the Neilah prayer. He underwent a series of tests at the scene, which came out normal, and now he feels well.”

Netanyahu arrived independently at Shaare Zedek and underwent an evaluation and a series of comprehensive tests that all came out normal.

He expressed his gratitude to the people of Israel for their concern for his safety. “I feel good and thank you all for the support and love,” he said.

Prime Minister Yair Lapid wished him a “speedy recovery and full recovery. Only health.”
