Follow the adventures of a Jewish family some of whom you might recognise…

As you probably know, the word “mishpacha” means “family” and the strip mainly revolves around the Kaufmans, their children, Ylana and Jonah, Benny’s in-laws, Becky and Morrie and the family dog, Yomtov.

Of course, other characters also feature.  There’s Benny’s best friend, Ronnie, the local gangster, Jack Iceberg and the wholly unpleasant Mrs Grimstein.

    Were the challahs stale or fresh? I was sold day old challahs in one of our supermarket chains that would have caused Mendl a great deal of grief…
