The offences are alleged to have occurred between 1989 and 1992.

A man, a US national, has been charged with 10 counts of indecent assault and two counts of indecent acts with a child under the age of 16.

He was remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

On 29 November 2012 the man was surrendered by the United States of America to Australian authorities in response to Australia’s extradition request.

David Kramer had served fouryears in a Missouri prison before facing extradition to Australia.

Alleged victim Manny Waks told J-Wire: “I’m delighted that David Kramer has been extradited to Australia to face justice. Nor I or any of his alleged victims that I’ve been in contact with ever really expected this day to arrive. It’s an important day for the alleged victims and for the entire Jewish community.”

    Yes, indeed it is.
Also victims of other religious instutions can see that no longer, is anyone is above the law, church or other without fear or favour.
A read of Hell On The way To Heaven by mother Chrisie Foster who lost her two beautiful daughters, one to sex-abuse related premature death, and the other out of dispair in relation to same, is testament to that, a family amongst many, having to live with silence offered, lies, denials and threats of their church.
