Revelman has stated: “The KA is not in turmoil.   Not at all.  It has never been more certain about its future. The KA had unanimously resolved to write the response to the KCI report, and spent a week preparing the document.  All board members were shown the final document, and one of the resignees was intimately involved in the editing of the first 5 versions, as well as the final document.   The board was told it was going to be released first thing Thursday morning and given the option to further edit until then.   All responses before that deadline were considered in the preparation of the document.   It was then released in accordance with the stated timetable.

At no time did any board member move to not release the document. Their resignation has come as a complete surprise.

The KA stands 100% by the document it has released, which reveals the true facts in relation to kashrut in NSW.   We urge consumers not to be distracted from learning the truth about the KCI report.   As stated in that document we will continue to serve the community as we have in the past and remain prepared to work with the JBOD.   Two new board members will be appointed shortly.”

Anthony Greenfield and Chana Warlow-Shill have now resigned from the Board.
