Police said they believed the offenders were three young men in a silver Mazda that crashed onto a kerb with the engine running on Saturday night. The car contained a carton of eggs and an empty jerrycan.
Strikeforce Pearl commander Detective Superintendent Darren Newman said investigators are treating the matter as an anti-Semitic incident with the young women’s clothing possibly identifying them as targets.
Eggs and verbal abuse have been hurled at five young women near Bondi Beach, and more cars and buildings have been spray-painted in the latest anti-Semitic attacks.

“We’re looking at hundreds and hundreds of hours of CCTV, we’re trying to track vehicles and persons in all of these matters. We will make sure that we go after every single person involved in those offences,” he told reporters on Sunday.
“We will track you down. What you’ve done last night is highly offensive – it’s criminal.”
The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies president David Ossip, said: “Reports about Jewish women being egged at Bondi Beach in another antisemitic attack are truly grotesque and depraved.
Throwing eggs at innocent women simply because they’re Jewish is beyond contemptible.
It is essential that the alleged offenders not only face the full force of the law, but are subjected to the public shaming and derision they deserve.”
J-Wire understands that NSW Police have suspects. The three young men fled the scene.
Waverley mayor William Nemesh told J-Wire: “I was disgusted to hear that a number of young women were attacked at Bondi Beach last night. These escalating attacks of violence and hate are insidious. I commend our local police for their swift investigation and action. I hope that these cowardly perpetrators are caught and dealt with by the full force of the law.”
